There are options for places to go between the ceremony and cocktail hour, we would suggest checking out The Grizzly Paw (they have a downtown location as well as the brewery both are walking distance), The Bridgette Bar (located steps away in spring creek), and of course the patio right near the ceremony location at the Malcolm.

Looking for a pick me up?

Scot and I would suggest Beamers ( 737 7 Ave #120, Canmore) one of our favourite shops, and if you are more of a tea person this is a great option.

We also love The Market Bistro ( 102 75 Dyrgas Gate, Canmore) which has a great dog friendly patio.

If this is your first visit to Canmore and you are staying a view days some things we might suggest are -

Checking out the near-by hikes, Grassi Lakes is busy but a beautiful short/easy hikes. For a more intense one, check out Ha-Ling. Just maybe not the day before the wedding or your dancing legs will be tired.

We love to go to Quary Park for a walk with the dogs, there is a nice little path behind the trees that takes you to a pond and around, back to the off leash park.

There are many great shops and restaurants down the main strip, but Iron Goat is also a favourite and has amazing views.

If you are coming in Canmore for the first time, we also suggest you head towards Banff for the day and enjoy the shops there. One of our favourite patio's there is Park Distillery, great food, great drinks, great location for people watching on the patio with the dogs!
